Aliya's 1st day of preschool

We had Aliya's birthday party today and everyone had an awesome time. We took a ton of photos and they are here for your "viewing pleasure". We still haven't downloaded all of the photos from the other cameras, so there's bound to be changes to the slideshow. Gavin Christopher Bowden!

Well... he finally arrived. Friday, February the 1st, 2008 at 10:54 am, we were blessed with the birth of our son, Gavin Christopher. He was 7 lbs 13 oz and 20 in long. All the family had a fit over him, to say the least. Stacey's mom, sister, and father were there as well as my mother who flew down from Maryland to be here for the birth. My brother Jeremy and our friends Mandy, Holly & Shea were able to be with us as well today and spent time visiting with us and the little man.

Big sister Aliya was able to join us around 3:30 and got to love on her little brother for the first time. She is definitely going to be mommy's helper with the baby.

Snow day in GA!

Well... Hell froze over (not really!). It just snowed in GA on the 16th. Aliya was VERY excited. She had an absolute blast. It really makes me miss having snow every year. Anywho... here's some photos that we took of Aliya having fun in the snow.

This was Aliya's first experience with snow. She got to ride in her sled that "Mimi & Papa" gave her last year.

Happy 2008!

Can't believe it's already 2008! We're all doing good here. Stacey is ready to have baby Gavin. The photo is from Christmas with my mom & dad (Janice & Calbert) and my brother, sister-in-law, and niece (Jeremy, Michelle, and Maddison). We'll post again once Gavin arrives. Keep us in your prayers!

Mandy's Wedding

Just an update!

It's been a while since our last posting. We had an awesome time on the trip! I think that Aliya must have pointed out every single Mickey Mouse silhouette that there was on that ship. My family and Stacey's family all had a great time as well. The last evening was a bit rough on sea due to weather, but we all made it. I'll try to get the blog updated a bit more in the next few weeks. Just too much to do and too little time to do it! Until next time!
